No changes were observed in Marathi, Kannada and Tamil space
MUMBAI: In week 53 of BARC India ratings, regional space witnessed some re-entries in Bangla, Gujarati and Telugu space. Colors Bangla has re-entered the top 5 Bangla channels' list at fourth position. In Gujarati and Telugu space Sandesh News and Gemini Movies have re-entered the respective markets in the fifth position. However, no changes were observed in Marathi, Kannada and Tamil space.

Sony Pal has replaced Colors Rishtey on pay platforms.
MUMBAI: In week 53 of BARC India ratings, Star Plus, Colors and Dangal continued to lead in urban and rural markets. On the pay platform, Star Plus held leading position. Sony Pal also replaced Colors Rishtey on pay platforms' top 10 channels list. In urban market, Colors was seen in the first position whereas Sony Entertainment Television has slipped down to fifth position. On the pay platform Sony SAB has slipped down to fourth, giving third position to Zee TV.

We have all heard these statements being uttered innumerable number of times over the past decade. Do these statements hold true today? If I were to hazard a guess, 9 out of 10 people reading this article would say that they do not hold true. We are living in the age of Digital today. But today will be yesterday tomorrow. YouTube has announced certain changes in order to protect children’s privacy online in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). These new rules are set around content marked as ‘made for kids’.
This means that any content for children on the platform will now be free of features like personalised advertising, super chat, comments, live chat and the notification bell. These changes have been rolled out globally.

Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEEL) is expanding its regional presence and launching a second channel primarily for the Bihar, Jharkhand and East UP markets. Bhojpuri movie channel- Zee Biskope aims to gain considerable HSM viewership as well with key markets like Mumbai, Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Kolkata forming core. The channel seeks to be the destination of authentic Bhojpuri entertainment with a library of over 300 movies, and it will be going on air on 14 January 2020.
