MUMBAI: Bharti Airtel on Monday posted its fourth quarter results for the fourth quarter of financial year 2019-20. While revenue was up seven per cent at Rs 23,723 crore on a quarter-on-quarter basis, it has registered a consolidated loss of Rs 5,237 crore year-on-year. Mobile services revenue has increased 21.8 per cent YoY and 16 per cent quarter to quarter.

Today over 60 per cent of its entire business goes through digital channels, and with share of AirtelThanks platform growing strongly to now become the second largest platforms for user payments online.
Twenty-eight employees of Zee Media have tested positive for Covid-19, the company said in a statement. The fresh cases come after one of the employees tested positive last Friday.

Sudhir Chaudhary, Editor-in-Chief, Zee News, said, “The global pandemic has now become a personal story for Zee Media. Last Friday, one of our colleagues tested positive for Covid-19. As a responsible organisation, we initiated mass testing of all those who could have been in direct or indirect contact with the said individual.”
“So far, 28 of our team mates have tested positive. Fortunately, most of them are asymptomatic and not complaining of any discomfort. We believe this is because of early diagnosis and pro-active intervention,” he added.
The webinar was presented by Shemaroo TV. Ahuja started the discussion by asking the panellists about what they think of the current scenario and their prediction of the future. The panel unanimously believed that these are uncertain times and nobody knows where things are headed.
Zee Media released a statement on Monday, saying 28 of Zee News employees have been tested positive for the coronavirus. The newsroom has been sealed for sanitation and the team has been shifted to an alternative facility for the time being.
“Last Friday, one of our colleagues tested positive for COVID-19. As a responsible organisation, we initiated mass testing of all those who could have been in direct or indirect contact with the said individual,” Sudhir Chaudhary, Editor-in-Chief, Zee News said in the statement.
He credits the organisation’s early diagnosis and proactive intervention as the reasons why most of those who tested positive were asymptomatic. Chaudhary wrote that Zee has been following best practices to break the cycle and to contain the infection in line with the official protocol.

BENGALURU: Overall broadband internet subscribers in India grew by 1.866 crore or 2.98 per cent in the month ended 31 October 2019 (Oct-19) from the numbers reported by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India for the month ended 30 September 2019 (Sep-19). TRAI reported 62.542 crore (625.42 million or 6,254.2 lakh) broadband internet subscribers across all segments for Sep-19. This number grew to 64.408 crore (644.08 million or 6,440.8 lakh) in Oct-19 as per the latest numbers published by Trai.
MUMBAI: Tamil-language GEC Vijay TV has provided a relief amount of Rs 75 lakh to the production workers who produce content for the channel. Two content producers have thanked Vijay TV for the gesture. In separate social media posts, they have expressed gratitude to the channel for providing financial help to distressed producers who have been out of work since the lockdown.
